7 Surprising Signs You Have Low Testosterone

What is low testosterone?

Let's define testosterone at first. Testosterone can be described as hormone generated by the body. Testicles produce it in the case of men, and ovaries in the event of women. Many people usually think of low testosterone as men's problems, but it is also observed in the development of women.

The problem of low testosterone is seen mainly among the older age people. However, it does not mean that young people don't have this problem. It is seen among the people less than 40 years old.

Surprising signs of low testosterone

In this article, I am going to reveal some of the surprising signs of low testosterone. Just read this article, and check whether you have these signs or not.

1. Mood Swing

In most of the cases, our mood depends on upon our circumstances and surroundings. However, in the event of a person having low testosterone, it's different. The person with this problem usually feels irritated and experience depression or lack of focus. The problem of mood swing is taken as the sign of mental problems, but the person with low testosterone (low T) are also affected by mood swing.

2. No interest in sex

When someone says that he/she is not interested in sex, you will be surprised. After all, sex is one of the most attracted things in human life. Yes, this sign can be seen among the people with the problem of low T. Due to lack of hormone generated, you want to have less sex in comparison to ordinary citizens. Healthy people usually enjoy having sex on a regular basis, but not in the case of a person with low T.

3. Body Hair Fall

Low testosterone also known as hypogonadism leads to body hair fall. This might not be in the case of every person, but there are individuals who have observed this sign due to hypogonadism. Testosterone has a vital role in the various bodies function, and one of them includes the production of hair. This might be a worrying sign for some, as it affects their personality.

4. Low Semen Volume

Testosterone also plays a crucial role in the production of semen. Semen is a white seminal fluid which is secreted by sexual glands. As testosterone plays a vital role in sperm production, the small volume of testosterone has a direct relationship with the amount of semen produced by the sexual glands. The low T means the low hormone production, so it results in low sperm production as well.

5. Reduction in Energy Level

When you are in the workplace, you must have a positive attitude and optimum levels of energy to perform well. Energetic employees or employers are the ones who can lead the people in their organization. However, the people with hypogonadism or low T are always drained, and it leads to stress due to underperformance. The people with low T just cannot have a success due to their lack of energy and stress.

This is a big problem, and it is necessary to find some solution to bring the level of testosterone back to normal again. There might be many male enhancement pills, but among all of them, Spartagen XT is one of the best I have seen. While searching for the top enhancement pills, I have come across Spartagen XT.

Spartagen XT is top male enhancement pills with 100% natural supplement containing various herbal ingredients and vitamins, leading to boosted body's testosterone production and it has been able to win the heart of many consumers.

It is vital to bring your energy level back to normal, and you should take some actions for boosting testosterone production.

6. Increment in Body Fat

If your body fat is continually increasing, then it might be due to low T. There was a study conducted on this issue, and researchers found that testosterone has a role in the way body preserves the fat.

7. Weak Grip

The person with low testosterone will have a soft grip. Low T sucks the strength out of the skeleton leading to a soft grip. The people with hypogonadism are frail; they are no longer able to hold a firm handshake.

Speak Up Against Physical Abuse

Speak Up Against Physical Abuse

It's NOT OK

It's just not OK. This feeling of fear, the shiver, the sweat, the pain and the tears, it's just not OK. Once again she was beaten up by her husband, this time not just his hands, it has levitated to the broom. The broom made from the leaves of the coconut, the tree we call 'kalpavruksh'. Has the level of beating gone up or actually has the level of the husband gone down, or still worse the medium to be beaten by.

What wrong did she do? Was it even justified to be treated this way. Why is it always the woman who has to go through this treatment. Why are we never taught to hit back? Why is it that her mother says it's OK for husbands to beat their wives. Maybe she has been beaten and maybe her mom too. Why does the tradition have to continue. Shouldn't it stop right where you feel it's not right? How many more generations will it take for women to realise it's not OK to be beaten up.

If you are abused raise your voice to speak against it rather than accept it. It's not OK to take abuse just lying down. It's not OK to keep quite. Women have to speak for herself and for every women around her to get the courage to open up. Every woman should be ready to support anyone she knows who is going through this physical abuse. Every woman should have to courage to speak about her physical abuse without the fear of being ridiculed or looked down upon. Come on girls, enough is enough. We talk about women empowerment and women freedom but it's not the lower strata of the society only that's exploited, it's also the women around you, maybe your own neighbour your own friend your own aunty or even the maid who works in your house or her daughter or even yourself.

Speak up before it's too late. Speak up as long as you can. Speak up before you die with your mouth shut and let this tradition of abuse pass on to your daughter. Speak up for this voice is yours. Speak up for the children who need to learn how their mother should be treated. Speak up for the sons who need to learn how to treat their wife n daughter. Speak up because that's the least we can do. A single voice can bring a revolution. Be the change you want to see.

A Formula for Perfect Gift Ideas

A Formula for Perfect Gift Ideas

How do you find the perfect gift for anyone regardless of the recipient's age? I've always believed that the general principle for finding the best gift ideas remains the same: thought about the receiver comes first--the gift itself just takes second place.

That basic principle essentially implies that the idea of a perfect gift actually doesn't exist as an idea that can be considered universal. Put another way, there's no such thing as a standard "perfect gift" for anyone that matches a particular profile, demographic, or description. Every so-called best gift is as unique as the recipient and the purpose for which it is given.

To illustrate this, think of Christmas gift ideas to give to your spouse. If you intend to buy one online, you'll probably browse tens or hundreds of gift registry sites that list Christmas gifts, gifts for husbands, gifts for wives, and the like. This pattern of gift searching relies on the process of elimination--that is, of narrowing down millions of gift items to just one or two--and then purchasing one while hoping that it will be the perfect present for the receiver. But, this method limits your search in a lot of ways. For instance, it limits your ideas to the season or holiday. Surely, you want to give the best gift not because of the holiday but despite the holiday.

An Easier Way

Is it wrong to search for great gift ideas in that manner? Of course, it is not. But, is there an easier, smoother way showing the deeper thought and reflection you've put into your gift giving act? Yes, there is.

Any present is perfect only insofar as it meets a specific purpose. Let's take this statement a bit further. Different people have different purposes for the gifts that they give. Most of those purposes are practically laced with self-serving motives. Most people give gifts to satisfy another's wants. Yet, the most thoughtful, noble, and special gift you can give is one that helps fulfill the recipient's need.

Everyone has both wants and needs, and at the end of the day, it's those gifts that fulfill a need that count and matter more (and are often fondly remembered). After all, everyone can live without getting what one wants. Imagine yourself as the recipient of a special gift. Can you say to the gift giver, "You do love me and care for me; you were there in my need"?

Taking the recipient's need as your foremost consideration in deciding what gift to give lifts your gift giving several notches higher than routine, superficial, thoughtless, and meaningless giving. So, if you intend to practice a more loving and more genuinely human way of giving the best gift to your loved ones, try the needs-based approach.

The Liberating Formula

For brevity's sake, I've summed it into a formulaic fill-in-the-blanks statement that goes like this:

"My gift's receiver needs help with _____________________. I can help this person by giving her or him a _________________."

That formula is a very liberating formula because it:

frees you from the constraints of holiday-themed giving;
frees you from the constraints of popularity-based gifts ideas;
gives you more leeway to come up with a more intimate, more meaningful, and more useful gift idea;
points you to a gift idea that fulfills a need (i.e., the receiver's), for which the receiver will hopefully be grateful;
frees you from the time-consuming, hit-or-miss process of sorting out gift suggestions because right from the start, you already have a clear idea of the specific purpose for the gift item that you intend to give; and
frees you from the idea that a gift is always physical, material, or tangible. Not all gifts are tangible. In many situations, the best gift is the intangible kind: the gift of presence, the gift of time, the gift of reassurance, the gift of appreciation expressed in a handwritten note, etc.
Take note that the intended recipient may express her or his needs either explicitly or indirectly. Regardless, you have to know what those are. Sometimes, you even need to figure out those unexpressed needs on your own. Giving a helpful gift for someone's unexpressed need often spices up your gift giving with the element of surprise, which always results in delight: "Oh, oh, oh! How did you know I needed this? Thank you! I do need this."

In conclusion, do not start your search on a gift registry site or a themed listing of gift ideas. Instead, start your search from your mind and fill your thoughts with the recipient and his or her needs. Only then can you really begin a worthwhile search for perfect gift ideas for that person you care about.

Role Of A Business Consultant For Any Organization

Role Of A Business Consultant For Any Organization

The business consultants of any company play major roles in driving successful change in the organizations around the globe. Not just they support the particular ability and solution development and in some cases project management, but sometimes they also work as the key players to change management activities, which therefore support the project implementation. Apart from that, the planning and feedback they offer help the organizations to grow while boosting profits in the long run.

Like other management consultants, the business consultants offer objective and independent advice to companies so that the company owners can learn about and meet with their goals through enhanced use of resources. In some cases, these professionals also help the companies to meet with their goals by using their experience and skills in a better way.

Now let's have a look at the roles played by a business consultant for any organization:

To understand the details of business consulting, it is necessary to understand the roles played by the professionals offering this service. In simple terms, the role of a business consultant is to analyze, find and solve the issues faced by their clients. These experts are mainly expected to work in one dynamic environment while juggling with the important organizational issues. They bring their skill set, knowledge and domain competence developed for years to solve the problems faced by the clients.

While working on the projects, they can also work like analysts and can prepare different types of documents and can also work hand in hand with the users at the client locations. Besides, these people also work with assurance to make sure that the systems are efficiently right and can also meet with the required trade requirements of the clients with the help of their domain skills.

But while the consultants are not on the projects, they get involved in the consulting practice and work with the senior managements of companies to devise responses of the proposals sent by the clients, while sharing the knowledge with the rest team members, developing collaterals and working on different types of business offerings with the senior management.

This is the reason, why finding out the right consultant may be the toughest part for any company owner or management. The people must have the qualities like as: drive for excellence, passion for work and a keen eye for companies and their details. Besides, it is also necessary to choose the expert, who has experience in the industry where your company is operating or has knowledge about all the problems that your company faces. In some cases, it is also important to check whether these professionals have solid referrals before hiring them.

At the present time, there are many people in the industry, who call themselves business consultants. But actually, it takes the combination of many skills to make for good business consultants. Therefore, before choosing these experts, it is vital to make sure that they have the necessary certifications on the basis of the industry in which they are operating. Last but not least, these experts are not at all cheap. So, don't think about the cheapest option while choosing one for your organization.

Yocan wax pen

How it Works
To load your Yocan Evolve Plus, twist the mouthpiece to remove it from the body of the pen and expose the atomizer. Next, unscrew the coil cap to expose the heating chamber and load the chamber with your choice of concentrates. We recommend loading the concentrates directly to the coils but be sure not to touch the coils with your metal packing tool as it can damage them. Once your wax is loading in place, put the coil cap back on the atomizer and screw back on the mouthpiece.

To turn the wax pen on, press the power button on the unit 5 times quickly. The light around the button will illuminate to let you know the device is now active. Now simply press on the power button while you draw from the mouthpiece.

Temperature Flexibility
The Yocan Evolve Plus does not offer any type of temperature control, which is a bit disappointing. It seems like temperature control is not a feature Yocan puts much stock in as none of the units we have reviewed, like the Magneto, feature the ability to control your temperature.

The only way you can try and regulate the temperature on the Yocan Evolve Plus is by pulsing the power button as you draw. What we mean by this, is rather than just holding down the power button and drawing, hold the power button down for 3 seconds, release it for 1 second, hold it for another 2 seconds, release it, etc. This will help maintain an even temperature and will keep the coils from getting too hot.

Vapor Quality
Vapor Quality from the Yocan Evolve Plus wax pen is what we expected from a dual coil quartz atomizer. This atomizer set-up is not exactly groundbreaking and has been utilized on a lot of wax pens, most notably the Kandypens Galaxy.

Flavor from the Yocan Evolve Plus is decent as long as you try and control the temperature of the coils through the method we mentioned above.

If you just press and hold the Evolve Plus, your draws tend to get very harsh and start to taste burnt by the end.

Manufacturing Quality
For the price, the Yocan Evolve Plus is a well put together wax pen. It feels sturdy in the hands and performed without issue during our testing.

Yocan tries to set itself apart from other wax pen manufacturers with their unique atomizer cap system.

This cap works similarly to a carb cap on a traditional rig, allowing the ambient temperature around the coils to remain hot for a more efficient vaporization process. It also helps guard against any sort of splatter.

Battery Life
The Yocan Evolve is shaped closer to a marker than it is a pen. This extra girth means that Yocan was able to outfit the Evolve Plus with an 1100mah battery. This is almost double the standard 650mah battery found in most pen vapes meaning you will be able to get a lot more draws from the Evolve Plus on a single charge.

In our tests, we found with moderate usage we were easily about to go a couple days before needing to charge our Evolve Plus.

The battery on the Evolve Plus charges via micro USB, so even if you do find yourself low on power, find a place to charge your Evolve Plus battery while out, should be relatively easy.

Portability
As we previously mentioned, this wax pen is not so much pen-shaped as it is marker shaped. While it is wider than a lot of wax pens, it will still easily slip into a pocket or bag for easy transportation.

The Evolve Plus also features a built-in silicone wax container which makes taking your concentrates with you much easier.

The battery on the Evolve Plus also makes it more favorable to take around with you. With such a large battery, it is sure to last a full day of vaping.

Ease of Use
This device is extremely straightforward to use. There is just one button and a fixed temperature, which keeps the learning curve on this device low. 5 clicks on the power button turn it on and off, and you simply press and hold the power button while you draw to enjoy your concentrates.

Discreetness
This unit shares a similar shape, size, and design as many e-liquid vape pens currently on the market, which is great for keeping things discreet. This means most people who spot you using this in public will merely think you are enjoying some e-liquid rather than concentrates. Its small size also means it is easy to palm or pocket quickly if the occasion ever arises.

Yocan Evolve Plus XL

How it Works
The Yocan Evolve Plus XL works exactly like most wax pens, although it does have a couple extra features that make it more appealing than your run of the mill option. The base of this contains the 1400mAh battery, and there is just one button for turning it on and engaging the coils. You can’t adjust the temperature or power.

There are five parts that sit on top of the base. The first is a piece that seems to do nothing more than add the option to carry this with a lanyard. After that the atomizer base screws into the battery, then the actual atomizer/coils screws into that. There is a “coil cap” that screws into the top of the atomizer, then a magnetic mouthpiece that sits over top.

Temperature Flexibility
This doesn’t offer any temperature flexibility at all. It’s either on or off, and that’s it. I couldn’t find any details about whether or not the power output is regulated or not, or even what the resistance of the coils is.

Using it suggests the voltage output varies with charge level, meaning you should avoid discharging the battery too low or performance will suffer.

Yocan Evolve Plus XL Mouthpiece

Vapor Quality
I don’t think the vapor quality is very good – and that’s not just because I prefer flavor over strength and cloud size. While the quad coil atomizer makes it very clear that this is designed for big rips, I found using it to be more frustrating than anything.

The main problem is that the coils are positioned along the outside of the chamber, forming what is basically a square when you look inside. This means there is a big opening in the middle of the coils that is just empty space.

There is a raised portion there to encourage the wax to melt and slide towards the coils, but in practice it just doesn’t work well. If you just take a big glob of wax and put it inside, chances are very good that the wax won’t distribute evenly. This is especially true if you tilt the device at all to take a draw.

When you do that, you have a bunch of wax concentrated on 1-2 coils while the rest just start to burn up leftover residue.  The result is less than desirable. The only solution is to try to evenly divide your wax ahead of time and/or not tilt the device.

Manufacturing Quality
The manufacturing quality is average. There’s a lot to like here, but the coil design brings the enjoyability of the entire device down a few levels.

It seems like there was more focus put on the ability to market a four coil atomizer than actually making a good vaporizer.

From what I can tell, there is only the one type of atomizer/coils that will work in this too.

Battery Life
The battery life is good. The 1400mAh capacity seems to last a little over a day with moderate use. If you are a heavy user, you’ll find yourself charging it at least once.

If you only plan on occasional use (once a day or less), this could last you several days to a week.

A Brief Way to Classify the Sports

A Brief Way to Classify the Sports

While walking down the street, if you get to pass by a park or playground, you can see a number of individuals involved in different activity. Some can be seen engaged in cycling; some are using baseball equipment, while someone is busy giving baseball instruction to the seemingly amateur ones. Almost every one is engaged in some kind of activity. It is pretty obvious that the young ones are more interested in physical activities rather than just sitting or playing board games. Yet, every individual likes a different kind of sports. When we think of classifying the sports into categories, the number of categories is unbelievable. From bat and ball sports to automobile sports, from boarding sports to cue sports, from water sports to sky diving, there are just too many.

Classifying such a number of sports in definite categories is definitely an arduous task. But roughly, we can manage to suggest few criteria that can put a sport in the closest possible category. Using these criteria, the categories that have been formed are as follows,

Racing Sports: In racing sports, there are a number of competitors racing against each other and sometimes also in teams. The basic objective of a race is to be the fastest and first one to achieve a target. Racing sports can be subcategorized in to three types of sports; human powered sports like running and swimming, Human assisted like cycling and rowing and External powered such as motor sports and sailing.

Opponent sports: These sports are generally a competition between two opponents where the scores achieved by the players decides the winner. The opponent sports can also be divided into three main categories Court sports are the ones that are played in a court such as tennis, badminton and squash. Combat sports are one on one physical encounter between the opponent like karate and boxing. And the Team sports are one in which teams compete with other teams example football and cricket. It is possible that a court sport is also a team sport.

Achievement sports: Achievement sports can be taken as the ones in which the players show off their abilities. The categories might help you understand it more clearly. There are three types of achievement sports; Target sports are the ones in which the objective is to hit a target such as shooting and archery. Display sports are the ones in which the participants display certain ability or moves like in bodybuilding, gymnastics and diving. In strength sports, the participants show off their strength as in weight lifting and triple jump.

Athletics: And finally, there are athletics in which the competitors have to show their abilities in a combination of different sports from above mentioned categories. We can roughly divide these into running, jumping and throwing. The players have to participate in a series of different games and the one with highest over all score is the winner.

This was only a rough categorization of sports, if you go into deeper studies of all these categories. Although, if you study each category individually, you will see that it can still be sub categorized into many other categories as well.

Is Money Killing Sport?

Is Money Killing Sport?

Recent news in the UK has featured two knights of the realm. The death was announced of Sir Roger Bannister, the athlete who ran the first four-minute mile in Oxford in 1954 and was later knighted for his contributions to medicine. Bannister competed in the amateur era and was said to have derived no financial benefit from sport. On the other hand, Sir Bradley Wiggins, performed in the modern era in which all elite sport is professional and richly rewarded. He was in the news because a Parliamentary committee had found that though he had done nothing illegal, he had nevertheless acted unethically in taking prescribed medication not for treating an affliction but purely to enhance his performance in winning the Tour de France cycle race in 2012. This latest in a long series of stories of drug abuse in professional sport raises the question of whether it is still sport in the traditional sense, and whether ethical behaviour can survive in an era ruled by big business.

International cycling competition had gained a bad reputation for drug abuse when a former seven-times winner of the Tour de France, Lance Armstrong, was stripped of all his achievements on the revelation of his abuses in 2012. The United States Anti-Doping Agency described him as the ringleader of "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen." The Sky cycling team, of which Wiggins was a member, was launched on the claim of being a champion of clean sport. It has now been revealed as acting in a way that was technically legal but unethical, behaviour that can be considered as characteristic of much of modern business.

Another interesting reflection on trends in modern sport was provided recently by FIFA's decision to allow the use of TV monitoring facilities in soccer matches to aid referees' decisions. Various systems are already in use in cricket and rugby, where spectators are shown replays on a large TV screen. However, replays of action will not be displayed in this way at soccer matches on the grounds that fans would not be prepared to accept marginal decisions that go against their team. This is surely a severe condemnation of a sport by its own ruling body, and shows to what depths sportsmanship and ethics have sunk in this most commercialised of sports.

The lesson from all this would seem to be that the authorities will continue to struggle for legality in sport, as in business, but that little can be done to ensure ethical behaviour, and pure sportsmanship can be expected to survive only in the amateur arena.

Spirituality from the Hebrew Bible: 10 Major Themes

Spirituality from the Hebrew Bible: 10 Major Themes

The major themes of the Hebrew Bible (also known as the Old Testament) surely include God, man, sin, righteousness, grace, covenant, law, atonement, and holiness. A final theme we will examine is the Messiah. Nearly everyone would agree that these ten themes are among the most important. Let's take a closer look at each one.

God - From its opening verse, the Hebrew Bible affirms the following important truths about God: Regarding time he is timeless, regarding power he is limitless, and regarding knowledge he is infinite; He is one and not two or more, He is creator not creature, and He is both loving and holy.

These characteristics, and many more besides, define who God is, and lie at the heart of the Old Testament revelation of Him. He is primarily revealed, however, not in abstractions or propositions, but in relationship with human beings.

Man - In contrast with God, human beings are limited: they have a beginning and are mortal, they have only limited power and knowledge, and they are certainly not always loving and holy. To be sure, the history of humankind has some heroism and stories of noble thoughts and deeds, but it documents the sad history of failed potential, squandered opportunities, and perverted purposes.

The original pair of human beings comes into existence in relationship with God, objects of His grace and love and reflections of His likeness. Unfortunately, however, they give up their standing with the Lord. In the name of independence, they become slaves to sin, in need of deliverance. The progress of their descendants reaches the climax when Genesis 6 says, "Every inclination of the heart of man is only evil all the time."

Sin - The Hebrew Bible reveals the nature of sin primarily in narrative form--in other words by telling the story of what happened to real people. Human beings were created in a sinless state, even as even now they are born into the world pure and innocent. Sinfulness is abnormal for human beings; it is out of alignment with what God designed us to be and to do.

Since we bear the image of God, sin is whatever contradicts God's own nature. Because God is true, lies are sin. Because God is holy, defilement is sin. Because God is love, hatred is sin. Because God is unity, division is sin, and so on. This is best expressed in Leviticus 19:1, where God says, "You must be holy, for I am holy." All through Leviticus, the moral precepts announced are tied again and again to the affirmation, "I am the LORD."

Doing what is right and experiencing the blessing God brings with it is what the Old Testament means by knowing that God is the LORD (see statements in Ezekiel and elsewhere over and over).

Righteousness - If sin is rebelling against reflecting God's nature in our lives, then righteousness is living in harmony with that nature. It is maintaining a relationship of trusting obedience with God. Righteousness involves faith, but it also bursts forth from the loyal heart into faithfulness in one's walk.

The Hebrew Bible describes the righteous person as being devoted to God in with your heart, your soul, and your strength. A right relationship with other human beings accompanies this right relationship with God. The Old Testament portrays the righteous person as treating others as they would want to be treated, with acting toward them as God would act.

Grace - Some readers have the impression that they will not encounter grace in the Hebrew Bible, that it only becomes a primary emphasis in the New Testament. This impression is a false one, dispelled by nearly every book of the Old Testament.

God's graciousness to human beings begins with the first couple and continues as a constant theme in the Old Testament symphony. The LORD is "abounding in steadfast love" and willing to forgive to a thousand generations. Again and again He reveals His great patience and His tender mercy toward sinners. Unfortunately, some have only focused on passages in which He reveals wrath against sinners, a counterpoint melody to be sure, but one that always plays out in the context of covenant-love and faithfulness.

Covenant - The sovereign, almighty, transcendent Creator-God is willing to stoop to enter into agreements with human beings. These agreements are called covenants, and they provide much of the framework on which the Hebrew Bible unfolds.

The major covenants of the Old Testament include the ones with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses (and all of Israel), Aaron & Levi, and David. Each of these covenants involves promises God makes and expectations He has for the subjects of the covenant. The Hebrew Bible also looks forward to a New Covenant, which is what the New Testament is all about.

Law - The covenant God made with the nation of Israel is called the Law (Torah, or Law of Moses). In the Law, God rehearses the saving acts by which He has placed the nation of Israel in His debt and then challenges them to agree to live in relationship with Him, experiencing the blessings that attend that relationship. Of course, He also warns them of the curses they will bring upon themselves if they break the covenant. Basic to the Law are the Ten Commandments, which lay out the fundamentals of living in harmony with God.

Atonement - Under that same covenant with Israel, God provided a means of gaining forgiveness through a system of animal sacrifices. These offerings were a way the believer had of removing offenses and pleading to God for a renewal of the close relationship the sin made impossible.

According to the Old Testament, atonement was only possible through the shedding of the blood of a perfect sacrifice. This laid the groundwork for the New Covenant's eternal sacrifice of the Perfect Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.

Holiness - In the Hebrew Bible, to be holy means to be dedicated to God. Holiness is a part of God's nature and is imparted by Him to human beings in a right relationship with him. God intends for all human beings to be holy all of the time. Sin, however, defiles us and puts us in need of atonement so that we can be holy once more.

Messiah - The Old Testament anticipates the coming of the Holy One of God who would have a miraculous conception, live a perfect life, serve as the ideal human being, and then voluntarily offer up Himself as the once-for-all sin offering so that human beings could be restored to God and made holy again.

Over a period spanning more than 1,000 years, inspired prophets foretold aspects of the life of this Holy One. The accumulation of their predictions paints a perfect portrait of the birth, life, character, death, and even resurrection of Jesus Christ. Several of these prophecies in the Hebrew Bible describe him as "the Anointed One" (Hebrew: Meshiakh), or "the Messiah," in keeping with the practice in Old Testament times of pouring olive oil on the head of a person specially appointed by God to accomplish His purposes.

Exposure to asbestos is one of the most common causes of mesothelioma. Over 50% of mesothelioma patients have a history of asbestos exposure. This exposure can occur directly during handling of the fiber material or can occur by environmental exposure.

There are many documented cases in which patients of the disease lived close to asbestos or coming into contact with asbestos when some of the fibers were converted into the air. The most affected are ship builders, construction workers, car mechanics (in particular brake lining work), insulation workers, pipe locksmiths and radiators and workers ground and ground. Roofer.

In addition, for those who had exposure to asbestos and smoking as well, the risk is exaggerated. Studies show that asbestos workers who also smoke are 55 times more likely to die from mesothelioma than non-smoking without exposure to asbestos.

Erionite

Erionite is a mineral that has a long and thin structure, such as a rod amphibole. Exposure to this mineral is associated with an increased incidence of mesothelioma. Many cases of mesothelioma due to exposure to erionite have been diagnosed in the central anatolia region of Turkey.

Erionite is a brittle, fibrous mineral found in areas where volcanic and ash were exposed to the elements, usually alkaline. It is bright or white, and erionite looks like wool or glass.

As the mineral asbestos, erionite can be dangerous extremely if it is disturbed and released into the air. Also just like asbestos fibers, erionite microscopic small fibers can be inhaled and enter the lungs.

Once inhaled, their size can undermine the natural filtration system of the lungs and deposit in the Mesothelium, a protective lining surrounding vital organs. This in turn can lead to a rare form of cancer called mesothelioma. The exposure to erionite more is closely linked to the mesothelioma of the abdomen (lining of the stomach) and the pleura (lining of the lung). It also seems to be linked to fibrotic lung diseases and lung cancer.

Erionite is not regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), although it shares many properties with asbestos and presents risks.

Asbestos is the main cause of malignant mesothelioma in most patients. If you or a loved one who are exposed to asbestos, you are in danger.

There is no minimum exposure level as safe. Make sure that during your health care routine, tell your doctor about previous exposure to asbestos, especially if you have a feeling of breathing difficulty, dyspnea, chest pain or cough. Although these symptoms do not indicate the presence of a disease they are the most common symptoms and should be further investigated when exposed to asbestos.

Why The Stock Market Will Soon Favor Value Investing Again

Why The Stock Market Will Soon Favor Value Investing Again

Value Investing is a famous investment strategy which helps to identify quality shares (by using an approximation of the stocks' value) that are currently undervalued in the market. The worth/value of every stock is based on the performance of the company as well as a view of its future sustainable profitability (known as normalized return on equity).

Since the beginning of 2009, the global markets have faced a financial repression era. It was a period of low-interest rates as well as risk-encouragement that has led to a perfect time for growth investing. Furthermore, the market has awarded a scarcity premium to almost all those companies that can grow in such an environment of limited economic expansion prospects. Meanwhile, the market has paid less attention to the traditional value factors, such as P/E (price-to-earnings) ratios and dividend yields. However, these factors have provided substantial return premiums over the long-term.

Everything has its season and it is totally fair to say, this has been a long and cold winter for value investors that are committed to the style. Certainly after the high-flying days of the tech bubble in the late 1990s, value has not been this out of favor.

It is extremely important to remember that the value/growth cycles tend to be mean-reverting. Moreover, they have lasted between 7 and 10 years from trough to peak on average. With the growth style now in its ninth year of relative out-performance, the current phase of this cycle may be drawing to a close. We may soon enter into an environment which once again favors value investing.

After the occurrence of this shift in the market, yesterday's laggards could become tomorrow's leaders. In addition, investors may want to be positioned accordingly. Although nobody has any crystal ball that can tell exactly when the cycle will flip. However, there are still some signs that a shift may already be occurring.

The followings are some of these indications:

1. A weakening U.S. dollar

It is important to note that the value indexes are skewed toward different market segments, like old tech, energy, and industrials that derive significant revenue abroad. The U.S. dollar has been losing value, which may provide such companies with an earnings tailwind.

2. Higher U.S. interest rates:

History shows that value stocks have outperformed in a pervasive as well as persistent manner shortly after the initial rate hike. Remember one thing, it worth noting that the lift-off for the current rate hike cycle happened in December 2015.

3. Strengthening commodity markets:

The value out-performance is positively correlated with rising commodity prices.

4. A recovery in the high-yield bond markets:

The value and U.S. high-yield spreads are inversely correlated. The spreads are currently falling, which is a signal that the worst may be behind us.

It is possible to learn a lot about value investing strategies with the help of investment courses. Given today's market conditions, it seems prudent to keep exposure to the value-oriented investments focused on income from low-valuation P/E multiples and dividends.

The 5 Major Stock Investing Strategies for the Value Investors

The consistent dollar cost averaging program setup is one of the best approaches to equity ownership for numerous investors, with dividends reinvested into a low-cost as well as a broadly diversified index. Some investors prefer to select individual securities and then build a portfolio based upon the analysis of each selected firm.

Mr. Benjamin Graham (the father of value investing) identified five different categories of common stock investing for do-it-yourself investors. These all 5 categories could conceivably result in satisfactory or even more than satisfactory returns. Mr. Benjamin Graham elaborated these five strategies in his book "The Intelligent Investor" for engaging portfolio managers who wanted to compound the capital.

1. The General Trading

This strategy refers to participating or anticipating in the moves of the stock market as a whole, as reflected in the familiar "averages".

2. The Selective Trading

This strategy refers to picking out the issues which, less than 1 year or over a period of 1 year, will do better in the market as compared to the average stocks.

3. Buying Cheap and Selling Dear

This strategy states that come into the stock market when the prices as well as sentiments are depressed and selling out when prices and sentiments are exalted.

4. The Long-Pull Selection

This strategy refers to picking out companies that will prosper over the year, far more than an average enterprise. These are also known as the "growth stocks.

5. The Bargain Purchases

This strategy suggests to select the securities that are currently selling considerably below their real/true value, as measured by some reasonably dependable techniques.

Value investing is one of the famous and easy to use investment strategies. Mr. Benjamin Graham goes on to address some specific quandary that every active investor will face in determining how to manage his/her portfolio. He said, "Whether an investor should buy at lower price and then sell at a higher price, or he/she should be content to hold some sound securities through thick and thin (subject only to periodic examination of their intrinsic merits) is one of the many choices of policy which an investor must make for herself/himself.

The personal situation and temperament here may well be the determining factors. An individual close to business affairs, who is used to forming judgments as to the economic outlook and of acting on them, will be motivated naturally to make similar judgments about the general level of stock prices.

The truth is that with multiple people sticking their feet in the same small bath all day, there's bound to be bacteria and fungus that remain after they leave. If you can, try and get the first appointment of the day for a pedicure so you can be more confident that all of the equipment and supplies are clean. The best podiatrist will also tell you that shaving your legs right before a pedicure or letting them use a foot razor on your feet can increase the likelihood of infection, so try to stay away from the razors.

Selecting a Sports Shoe

If you're not playing sports professionally you most likely have one athletic shoe for exercise and sports. Because all these activities are demanding in different ways, there's a good chance you might need different shoes to support different needs. For example, when you play basketball, you need a shoe that will support your feet when you're jumping and turning quickly, but when you play soccer, you need a shoe that help prevent ingrown toenails and turf toe. Knowing your needs will help you find a shoe that works best for you and prevents you from injuring yourself.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Laser Hair Removal

10 Things You Didn't Know About Laser Hair Removal

If you're fed up of constantly shaving or waxing to get rid of unwanted facial or body hair, then maybe you've already thought about laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is the most permanent of all treatments available today, and more effective than shaving, waxing. Electrolysis is still in use, but as each hair has to be treated individually, it can be a painful hair removal method, and on occasions can cause scarring.

If you haven't thought about laser hair removal yet, or thought that it sounded too daunting, these 10 tips will provide you with the information you need.

1) Laser hair removal isn't suitable for every skin and hair type. The best results can be found on people with light skin and dark coarse hair. This hair removal procedure targets pigmented tissue, and doesn't work well on red, white, blonde or grey hair.

2) The most common areas for laser hair removal are the lips, arms and underarms, legs, bikini line, legs, chest and back. Laser hair removal takes more time, and is more expensive for larger body areas than for smaller areas.

3) Depending on the area and skin and hair colour, it usually takes between 6 and 8 sessions of laser hair removal to fully get rid of the unwanted hair.

4) There are very few side effects to laser hair removal. The most common is that the treated area can be a bit sore and swollen for between a few minutes and a few hours. In some cases, darkening or lightening of the skin can occur. Effects such as blistering or scarring or changes in the texture of the skin due to laser hair removal are very rare. Side effects caused by incorrect technique or wrong settings can be reduced by ensuring that the clinic you use for your laser hair removal treatment is registered and approved by the Healthcare Commission.

5) Ensure that you do some research before you make an appointment. Find the best qualified and experienced laser hair removal practitioner and ensure that the clinic is regulated. The cheapest clinic may not provide the best results, or be regulated. Laser hair removal clinics often advertise in fashion and lifestyle magazines and so you may be able get an idea of what to expect before you visit one.

6) Expect a thorough consultation from the laser hair removal clinician which should last 30-45 minutes and will cover your medical history and a test patch may be treated to see how you respond to laser hair removal.

7) Before your laser hair removal treatment, you will need to ensure that you follow the advice of the clinician. This advice will suggest such things as to avoid sun beds, sunbathing and fake tan and not to bleach or wax the area to be treated for several weeks before treatment. Your laser hair clinician may also provide other advice and information to take into account before your laser hair removal treatment.

8) Laser hair removal works by passing a laser beam through the skin to the hair follicles where the hair growth starts. The heat from the laser damages the follicle and so stops hair growth. There is often a cooling device fitted to the laser handset to cool the skin down. It usually takes several treatments to get rid of all unwanted hair, because hair has several phases of growth. Laser hair removal treatment lasts from around 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the area being treated.

9) During laser hair removal, the area is thoroughly cleaned, and then the treatment begins. Most patients report very little discomfort or pain thanks to the cooling device fitted to the laser. Immediately after the treatment, additional cooling and moisturiser is applied to the skin.

10) Laser hair removal is quick and after the treatment, make up can be worn straight away, but perfumed products as well as steam rooms and saunas should not be used for a day as they may cause irritation. Exposure to the sun or sun beds should also be avoided for several weeks. You may see a hair growing several days after treatment; this is the dead hair coming out naturally. This may happen for several days depending on the size of the area that has had laser hair removal treatment.

As laser hair removal is so quick and has so few side effects, it is even possible to have the treatment in your lunch hour! Get rid of unwanted hair today!

How To Find A Custom Home Builder Without Losing Your Mind

How To Find A Custom Home Builder Without Losing Your Mind

Building a custom home is the largest purchase most people will make in their lifetime, and choosing the best custom home builder is essential to the project's success. The role of a custom home builder is as much to advocate for the homeowner as it is to collaborate with the design team. Since homebuilding is a process that takes several months, it's important that you the buyer feel there is trust and clear communication on the part of the builder. If you have a location and have set your budget for the project, you are ready to shop builders; read the following tips on how to find a custom home builder without losing your mind.

Consider your resources

If you have already hired a designer, they are the best asset at your disposal for beginning your search. Your design professional likely has first hand experience working with builders and will know their construction qualities, communication styles, and business reputations. You could also check with your lender or realtor, if they are familiar with the custom home market in your locale. You can contact the National Association of Home Builders for a list of qualified local builders. Internet searches can identify builders in your area, and some sites may be equipped with ratings & feedback from prior customers. And, certainly, you could ask friends and acquaintances who have completed custom home projects for referrals.

Shop the candidates

Shopping for a well-qualified home builder is easy when you know what to look for to accommodate your project. The right builder for you will need to have the available time, an interest in your project, and experience in working with homeowners. You want a custom home builder whose primarily focused on building custom homes rather than speculative homes, so that their services are tailored to your needs. When considering builders, ask about their current projects and their track record with projects of similar scale and detail to yours. They should also be able to provide you client references. You want to get the sense that the builder you are considering has done this sort of thing before.

Work the schedule

When you talk to prospective builders, ask what kind of schedule you would be looking at for your project. Know that building a custom home usually takes a minimum of 6 months and that the schedule will be weather-dependent. Additionally, steps must be taken before the home can even be framed, such as installing the plumbing and electric up to city code. A builder promising a time frame for completion that is only a few weeks or months should be considered a red flag, no matter how tempting it may seem. In the case of custom home building, it's better the project be completed properly then quickly.

Communication is key

Again, you need to be comfortable with how a builder communicates with you. You should not feel pressured or talked down to at any junction. You are trusting an expert to build your home, and that expert ought to be able to take the time to explain their process in layman's terms. You should have access to the construction site. You should feel your questions are welcome, and that they being answered in a timely and respectful manner. If you get the sense that the builder is more or less communicative than you would like, take note, and consider moving on. You do not want to enter into a building contract with a builder whose communication is irksome.

5 Tips For Choosing the Right Chiropractor

5 Tips For Choosing the Right Chiropractor

We've all been there before: trying to choose between a list of potential businesses or professionals with very little of substance to go on. Most of the time we rely on online reviews, glances at web pages, and if we are lucky we may know someone who has been to that business already and can tell you what to expect.

Going to a chiropractor is an important decision, even more so because many people do not know much about chiropractic to start with. What little they do know may very well be wrong. Some consider chiropractors quite poorly and are skeptical of the profession. Some are open to seeing a chiropractor but have no friends or family to steer them to the right person, and have no experience with chiropractic that would make an Internet search easier. It helps when you know the "language" of something because your Google search will be much more fruitful when you use the right terminology. Using broad terms often will net you nothing more than a list of chiropractors who do a lot of advertising and who fill their websites with keywords just to attract visitors via Google.

Choosing a chiropractor is in many ways a very personal decision. With so many types of DC's out there that means that you can probably find one tailored to your needs. This article will outline how to conduct a good search that will show you all the local chiropractors and allow you to tell them apart so that you can make the best choice.

1. Are you going to a chiropractor simply for pain relief, or for general health?

You can loosely separate chiropractors into two groups: holistic chiropractors and mechanistic chiropractors. All chiropractors know of this distinction, and in fact the profession has been in a general state of low-level internal conflict along this fault line since it's inception. Some chiropractors know this as a war of "straights vs. mixers". The internal conflict, which actually has many positive benefits, has been ongoing since the start of the profession in 1895. This duality is a strength of the profession: without the holistic character of chiropractic we would be physical therapists who adjust the spine, and without the mechanistic character of chiropractic we would lose sight of the very real benefits to health that chiropractic care provides millions of Americans every year, and the real detrimental effects of spinal joint malfunction (subluxation).

2. Do you want long-term care or would you prefer to have your complaint treated and then have your case closed?

Many chiropractors, with varying degrees of scientific evidence to back this up, promote chiropractic as a viable alternative to traditional healthcare. They view chiropractic as a way to foster the health of your nervous system through chiropractic spinal adjustments, which then allows the body to function at a higher level. Chiropractors and patients all over the country will attest to improved health with less illness and injury after they incorporated chiropractic into their lives. Regular adjustments help adults and children cope with everything from allergies to headaches, and people who want to avoid prescription medication often choose chiropractic instead. Hard scientific proof to validate this is difficult to come by due to inherent problems in designing a study capable of testing the "chiropractic lifestyle" and it's effect on general health, but case series' exist and we've likely all met someone who will swear up and down that chiropractic is keeping them out of the doctor's office.

On the flip side of this coin are chiropractors that will work to promote proper joint function at the injured area and then rehabilitate the joint and supporting soft tissue, after which they will release you from care. There is a value in this, just as there is a value in wellness or maintenance care. Releasing a patient after their pain is gone will save the patient money. It will also please the patient's health insurer - not that your insurer's happiness should ever be a factor in making health decisions, but unfortunately they hold power over your health in some very important ways so there is a value in not ending up in anyone's crosshair at your insurer's corporate headquarters. Rather than promote continuing care, a mechanistic chiropractor will work to correct the immediate problem only. Many times back pain may stem from a weak ankle or knee, so your chiropractor may very well focus on a spot that isn't painful, so do not assume the location of your pain is the cause of your pain.

A fundamental difference between holistic and mechanistic chiropractors is that the holistic chiropractor will treat the patient beyond the scientific limitations a more mechanistic chiropractor would self-impose. This actually ties #1 and #2 together. For example, a mechanistic chiropractor may treat low back pain by working to rehabilitate a sacroiliac joint and then release the client when the sacroiliac joint returns to normal, pain-free function. A holistic chiropractor will treat the client until subluxations (spinal misalignments causing nerve irritation) are fully resolved and then broaden their attention to include general subluxation correction in the entire spine in order to promote general wellness. Both approaches have real value. While imposing limits on treatment based on the limits of what peer-reviewed research can substantiate is important, holistic chiropractors acknowledge that progress in science occurs by pushing the limits of understanding and treating patients in ways that current best evidence may not fully support. The periphery of science is where progress is usually made - though it is also where quackery finds refuge.

3. Are you injured or are you dysfunctional? In other words, did your pain come on suddenly from an injury or did it set in more slowly due to something you repeatedly do?

Sudden pain usually means an injury occurred. Sometimes it is a car accident, or a fall, or a sports injury. These type of injuries may be what a certain type of chiropractor focuses on or even has certification and increased training in. In cases of these types of injuries you want a chiropractor who can confidently treat sprains and strains, who can differentiate different types of injuries, and who will recognize when an injury is too severe for them and is also diligent enough to see certain warning signs and refer you to other providers when necessary. Many holistic chiropractors, though not all, are prone to viewing the spine in terms of subluxations only and may therefore miss the subtle signs of a more severe injury that requires the expertise of a specially-trained chiropractor, an orthopedist or neurologist. Though not a firm rule, a more mechanistic chiropractor may be a safer bet when a painful injury is involved.

4. What professional associations serve the chiropractic profession, and how can this help you find the right DC?

There are two large national organizations that represent chiropractors: the ACA and the ICA. The ACA is the American Chiropractic Association and the ICA is the International Chiropractic Association. The ACA is more mechanistic and the ICA is more holistic. State associations are more varied, so it is difficult to discern much about a chiropractor from looking at his or her state association membership unless you look into the political or philosophical leanings of that organization - a lot of work for finding a chiropractor. To make things simple, know that many ICA chiropractors actually oppose the ACA, and vice versa, so you can glean more from their membership (or non-membership) in national organizations than you can from other things you might find on the website or online listings for a chiropractor. It's important to not read too much into this bit of information, though, and of course to consider that all people are multi-dimensional and may not fit into the dichotomy I am describing. Still, as part of a larger set of information to make a judgement, this can be helpful to consider.

5. Should you consider their websites, reviews, and testimonials? And how important are personal referrals?

You may find out soon enough that many chiropractors use one of a handful of companies to make their websites. This means that if you go to ten different chiropractor's websites you may see the same website over and over again with just a different DC's name on it.

This means the content is unoriginal and you likely cannot learn much about the chiropractor from their website. This reduces the value of the website. Chiropractors would be better off by ditching the spinning 3D spines and instead putting actual content on their sites. These sites are loaded with content but very little, if any, of the information on the site is unique to that chiropractor. Even articles with bylines that include that chiropractor's name are probably not articles written by that actual chiropractor. Suspect intellectual laziness and dishonesty when any professional puts his name and credentials on an article he or she did not author. While it is a common practice, that does not mean it is the right way to promote yourself.

Online reviews, such as Yelp! and Yahoo!, are great. Often, though, businesses game the system by making fake reviews. Are all the reviews from the same approximate time? For example, are ten reviews all from March 2012? If so, that is suspicious. If the reviews seem legitimate they may give you some insight into the kind of DC, but if they are suspicious then you should remember the old adage "buyer beware". Quite often a bad review (that is legitimate) will be followed with numerous illegitimate good reviews in order to drown out the bad one. Getting past the illegitimate reviews you may actually be able to get a lot of good information from reading reviews, so don't hesitate to use a search engine to search for "jones family chiropractic reviews" and see what comes up.

Testimonials should be looked at as marketing, but of course they probably are real stories from real patients. The chiropractor is choosing what message you want to hear. If they choose 5 patients who talk about the chiropractor curing their back pain, then this chiropractor wants you to view them as a specialist in back pain. If they talk about kids and allergies, that is what they want you to know they specialize in. In this way, testimonials can be used to get a look at the chiropractor.

Personal referrals are the best source of information since it is typically unfiltered and direct. Ask a friend or family member and you will get an unbiased opinion. The best chiropractors (and the best attorneys, realtors, and even bakers) all get most of their new clients because they treated the clients they already have so well. People are quick to complain about poor service, so when someone has a good thing to say about how they were treated then you should recognize this as worthy of your attention. Think of it like this: that person experimented with a chiropractor so you don't have to. A personal referral from someone you trust is easily the most valuable information you will come across.

That's it! I hope these five tips help you narrow down your search for the perfect chiropractor. This is by no means an exhaustive list of all considerations, but it is a great way to structure your search and find the DC who fits your needs and will provide what you are looking for. Take care and be well.

How To Accomplish Online Surveys

How To Accomplish Online Surveys

Some people may think that getting paid to take surveys is impossible. However, although finding a legitimate one may be difficult, companies who offer online surveys in exchange for cash or other forms of payment do exist. Online surveys are actually a great way to earn money on your own time. If you wish to earn through this job, follow the tips listed below to increase your chances of being hired.

Be prepared. Before you apply to survey sites, it is important that you are prepared. Assess and evaluate yourself and make a list of all your interests and hobbies. Different surveyors look for different types of people. Therefore, it is not recommended that you apply to every survey site that you see. Just look for the ones that best fit you and apply.

Fill out the surveys. Some companies offer screener surveys to help them with the screening process of their applicants. If you are faced with one of these, it is important that you take your time and answer questions concisely and completely. If surveyors see that you are efficient in expressing your opinions, you will be more likely to be given more surveys.

Regularly check the site and your email. When you just recently registered to survey sites, make sure that you regularly check their sites and your email. Surveys are usually sent through email, and if you do not regularly respond to them, companies and surveyors will think that you are taking them for granted and will decide not to send you any surveys anymore. Furthermore, some survey sites only offer a few surveys every month, if you think that you can handle two or more surveys, you can consider signing up with more companies.

Complete surveys. If you already have a number of surveys in your email, you can be selective and choose the surveys which you think you can answer best. However, if time is not an issue, you can choose to answer them all. After all, a higher income wouldn't hurt right?
Because there are more and more people wanting to work for survey sites, a number of scammers are taking advantage and have been making an effort to create fake survey sites in the hopes of luring people in, encouraging them to pay and making them provide their personal as well as credit information. To avoid getting victimized by scam survey sites, you need to remember these things:

Never pay. A legitimate website will never ask an applicant to pay in order to gain access to the survey lists. When this happens, search for the company information, contact information, terms and conditions and privacy policy of the website. Scam websites usually do not have these information and if you find them hard to locate, it would be better to just leave the site.

Make sure that you will be compensated. Legitimate companies are upfront regarding how they compensate their members. If you come across a company who is asking you to complete a survey first without clear explanation of how you are going to be compensated, it would most probably turn out to be a scam.
There are also instances when survey sites are accused of being scams when they totally aren't. Therefore, if you are an applicant, you need to check if there are age restrictions, if they offer payouts to your country and how they are going to compensate you. Different survey companies have different requirements and terms. Some just offer surveys to residents of North America while some just offer to residents of Asia. Some will pay in the form of cash while some will pay in the form of products, sweepstakes entries, points, etc. In addition, inquire with the company if there is a minimum payment amount. There are some sites which won't allow you to cash in until you have reached the quota. Legitimate sites will usually explain all of these things to applicants. Still, you need to remember these things just in case you or they miss out on them.

Is a Pontoon the Best Boat for Your Needs?

Is a Pontoon the Best Boat for Your Needs?

Pontoons generally consist of the same basic design, with a deck built on top of the two cylindrical pontoons. The sizes of the decks and pontoons are dependent on the activity the boat is built for. The main objective for these boats is to be lightweight, but sturdy enough to carry 6-17 passengers and all the equipment needed for the trips. Pontoon boats generally have railings around the flat shaped boat, to prevent people, and especially children from falling over board.

There is a lot of customizing that you can do to a pontoon boat. Along the sides of the boat you can line them with bench seats that are great for storage or you can simply have lawn furniture and tables. You can add a bimini canvas top that will provide shade from the hot sun and will optimize a late afternoon cruise for the family & friends that have had enough sun throughout the day. If you are interested in spending the night on the river, a camper top can enclose a sleeping area. Some models have fresh water and toilet facilities in a fold-down dressing area in the rear of the pontoon. A marine stereo system provides everyone with entertainment and the swim platform invites everyone into the water. For the fisherman, livewells can be built on to the pontoon as well as rod holders and bait buckets. The seating is not as plush as a pontoon designed for cruising with fishing chairs are found at the bow of the pontoon. The deck allows for a great deal of movement and is ideal for children learning to fish.

Pontoons are not designed to be taken out into the ocean. Because of their shallow hull, they are not designed for waves over two feet high as they will crash over the bow and roughly toss the passengers around. Lakes, rivers, and calm seas are the best place to take the pontoons. Pontoons range is size from 14 to 28 feet. According to the manufacturer the pontoon can hold anywhere from 6 to 17. This is true but if you want to travel at a speed faster than a meandering dolphin you should consider taking less than 80% of the maximum passenger allowance.

The price range for pontoons is from $7,000 to $30,000 with the average price of the pontoon being $18,000. Used pontoons can be found from $1000 to $15,000 but they are very difficult to find. The horsepower for the outboard motor used by the pontoon should range from 10 horsepower to 135 HP. Of course if you are planning to keep your pontoon's vinyl seats from cracking and splitting in the hot sun it is vital that you purchase a pontoon cover.

With the addition of the triple aluminum tube design, pontoons are able to model the performance of the deck boat. The tri-toons have become the greatest advance in pontoon design because this design allows for a larger motor which can add 15 mph on the water. Speeds of 40 to 70 mph can be obtained on some models. Because the deck is raised above the floats, pontoons ride very dry. They are stable, and with the transom mounted to the underside of the deck, the larger outboard motor makes the tri-toon easy to maneuver. The larger motors will even give a smooth wake for tubing, skiing and wake-boarding. Tri-toons average about $5000 more than the two tube pontoon boat.

The pontoon still has many critics. One thing that makes them unpopular is that they are gas guzzlers. Since they plow through the water instead of on top, they are very inefficient which results in poor acceleration and lower speeds. In addition since the pontoon is equipped with an outboard motor, it is often underpowered for what is needed to accomplish the goals of the day. Pontoons require 15-20% more horsepower to do what deck boats do with the same engine. The usual outboard for the pontoon, 60-90 HP, has a very small chance of being able to pull an adult skier. It is possible to pull them, but the ride will not result in pulling them up out of the water.

You now have the information needed to make an informed decision about whether a pontoon is the boat for you. When you consider the cost of the pontoon to the amount of square footage, you can't go wrong with a pontoon. Pontoons are fast enough to cruise down the river and get you out of inclement weather if it should come upon you quickly and you can't beat the passenger's mobility on the boat when your eight year old is first learning how to case a fishing line
