poem:: YOUR SERENITY









If only I would take the leap of faith
I could learn from you, self-anointed one
another disciple for your unnamed mission

we would make each other feel so good
I just need to let go of my fears and wants
ignore your singular ambition

This last sinister part is truly unknown to you

I can hardly wait for the train
I want to be there when it happens
front row and center
with my popcorn and Snowcaps
a jumbo cherry coke
thinking to myself: here comes the best part

There won’t be anything sinister about it at all
